Brand Strategy

Macmillan Cancer Support, Cymru 

My role in the communications team was to be a Macmillan brand expert for the Wales office staff and professionals. I provided advice and support for the fundraising, admin, events and policy team in the creation of marketing materials to ensure brand was protected, maximised and used in line with the guidelines.

I worked with the brand team in head office to receive training, workshops and organised specialised brand training for Macmillan staff in Wales. It featured biscuits AND fruit.

The Wallich – Brand guidelines.

Tasked with producing the first set of brand guidelines for the charity, I worked strategically with a colleague to research then collate information to form the structure of brand guidelines that encapsulated everything from mission and vision to tone of voice and photography guidelines.

This culminated in the production a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, a fold out summary and a presentation delivered to senior management with the intention of it being rolled out to the rest of the organisation and used in induction.
