“We first approached Emina for some support with our social media efforts in the middle of 2017, and she’s proved herself to be an individual with a real passion for and knowledge of all things social. But more importantly, Emina has demonstrated a much wider understanding of our marketing needs, which has allowed us to extend her brief. She has made many valuable contributions well beyond the original ‘social’ brief – and put simply, I can’t imagine how we’d cope without her now!Betina Skovbro, Owner, Brød, The Danish Bakery Ltd.
Macmillan Cancer Support: Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning (WBCM)
WBCM is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising campaign and I developed a social media campaign using a fundraising product from local partners, Coffee #1 – a gingerbread man. Each sale would be donated to the charity so I produced a visual narrative of the journey of the gingerbread man around Cardiff.
I also posted the tweet with the greatest statistics for the campaign in Wales.
“Emina’s social media work for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign was excellent and showed creativity and imagination. She used a fun story that focused on a funding partner’s product and even got in on another trending topic. I was so impressed, I used it as an example of best practice in our social media training”.Carol Naylor, Social Media and Channels Manager at Scope.
Two of a Kind:
Angharad Griffith, a University of South Wales fashion graduate partnered with The Wallich to launch her fashion and social brand ‘Two of a Kind’ that featured artwork printed on jumpers with all profits going to the charity.
I produced this short video about the project to use on digital media channels and accompany press work. The story was also picked up Wales Online, Radio Cardiff, Kelly Allen Blog and Made in Cardiff.
“When it comes to producing content for media platforms Emina knows her stuff, without her I wouldn’t of generated interest from outlets such as Wales Online, Radio Cardiff and Made in Cardiff. With her help I was able to promote Two Of A Kind to a wider audience and really see my brand thrive.
Working with her and The Wallich was such a rewarding experience that I have learned massively from. I was able to write my very first press release and felt guidance and support during the pop up shop. Emina was an asset to me during a stressful but exciting time”.
