Welcome to Emina Red 2.0

After almost fours years as a freelancer it felt the right time to have a change, welcome to Emina Red 2.0.

Beyonce upgraded Jay Z and I erm, upgraded myself. When I started out as a freelancer I spent little to no money on a website and just wanted to get myself out there, my brand was me and of course, it still is.

Why now?

Over the years I’ve been able to figure myself out more, what I enjoy, makes me tick and brings the best out of me which is why I have shifted my range of services to better suit that. Branding and campaigns is what I love, I want to create change wherever possible and tell peoples stories and reflect the wider society we live in.

I’ve worked with many organisations in shaping their brand identity and realised I needed to do it for myself.  I decided to kick it up a notch and focus on a rebrand and new website.

My creative partners

Huge excitement about this prospect was short lived as I realised that I had to do my own work, which I am terrible at! However I have the best creative people in and my life and for my rebrand I went to the incredible Lucy Llewellyn who understood me entirely and brought my brand to life, it was a dream to work with her. Her illustrations are just perfection and can be seen around the site.

My gorgeous new website is by lovely Gareth, who with a lot of patience and talent, has crafted my vision into digital gold. Photography is by Betina Skovbro who more than once had to remind me not to fake smile but got some good uns in the end.

Last but not least, huge thanks to my friend Nia who helped me waffle less with my content and has always supported me.

I hope you like it, I think this is the most ‘me’ it can be and I am really excited to work with new people, projects and organisations – fancy a chat? Get in touch.

  1. Hello Emina,

    How are you?

Can you please connect with me on LinkedIn? They are making me redundant after 19 years and I’m trying to get my head around using this stuff to get me a lovely new job.
